The are a couple EPs floating around out there. Fire Sessions was only released on cassette. Yes, cassette. Then, there is a CD out there called Super Eight, which had, yes, 8 songs. Lost Sessions was a limited release of 100 CDs and has 15+ songs on it. Here is a question from Christian about a couple of these…
So, as long as we’re talking about origins – any particular reason for calling them “The Fire Sessions”..? Lost Sessions has always been a favorite album of mine – very different flavor to it.. I was about to list some of my favorites off of it, but the list was quickly becoming just the track listing, sooo… lol
Everlasting, Distance, New Fire, Rock… gah – I honestly can’t do it. Oh well. 🙂
Here’s another question for you while I have you in the interrogation chair – there are songs you guys have been playing for a loooooong time, and I’ve wondered this about other bands that I love – do you ever get tired of playing some of them..? I actually never get tired of hearing them but I also don’t make it out to EVERY show you do no matter how I try.. lol..
I think the Fire Sessions simply came from the song New Fire. We’ve entertained getting a new version of that up and going.
Update Oct 24th, 2012:
Christian, for me, yes there are songs that I have to move away from for a bit to protect them. We try to make our song choices for live shows and for albums unanimous.
